A Spoken History Presentation:

How Industry, Labor & Innovation Shaped Marshfield's Weinbrenner Shoe Factory Property

Presenter Don Schnitzler, local historian and member of the North Wood County Historical Society, will talk about the Albert Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, its history, and its role in more than a century of industrial evolution in Wisconsin. 

Through archival photographs and historical documents, Don will provide a vivid picture of how the site transitioned from crafting fine furniture to outfitting workers with sturdy boots

“Timeless Treasures: A Journey Through American Clocks”

This exhibit presents a unique opportunity for guests to explore the historical significance of clocks and watches and the time they marked. Carefully researched and prepared history boards feature known area merchants who sold and serviced timepieces throughout the community’s existence.
